What features does KoIMS Mess offer?

KoIMS Mess helps students manage their hostel mess bills. Key features include viewing pending bills, making online payments via Razorpay, checking payment history, and an option to pay mess bills for friends.

How do I pay my mess bill?

Navigate to the 'Home' tab to see your pending bills. Click the 'Pay Now' button next to a bill to proceed with online payment through Razorpay. You'll be guided through the payment process.

Can I see my past payments?

Yes, the 'Details' tab shows your payment history for all cleared bills. You can expand each entry to see more details and download a PDF receipt.

How does the "Pay for Friend" feature work?

First, enable "Pay for Friend" in the Settings tab. Then, go to the "Pay Friend" tab, search for your friend using their registered email address. Once found, you can view their pending bills and choose to pay them.

What if a payment fails or I face an issue?

If a payment fails, the app will notify you. There's a cooldown period before you can retry. For persistent issues or payment disputes, please use the "Contact Developer" option in the Settings tab or reach out to your hostel secretary.

How is my data handled?

We take your privacy seriously. Your profile information and payment history are stored securely. For detailed information, please refer to our Privacy Policy, accessible via the Settings screen in the app or on our website.

Can I customize the app's theme?

Yes, you can switch between Light and Dark themes in the Settings tab. There's also an experimental "Random Theme" option for a different look each time.
